At Island Trading, our commitment to sustainability is long-standing and deeply embedded in our business practices. For over 40 years, we have offered products made from recycled materials and we continue to take meaningful steps to reduce our environmental footprint. In January 2026, we became a Beyond Plastics Bermuda Champion, eliminating single-use plastics including plastic customer shopping bags, coffee pods and plastic cups and utensils.
We also partner with many environmentally responsible suppliers who share our values—whether through the use of sustainably sourced materials in furniture production, recycled and reduced packaging for shipping, or fabrics produced without harmful chemicals. This allows us to offer healthier homes and a healthier environment for our customers.
